It is the mission of the Slinger Police Department to provide an environment of stability and security to the citizens of the Village of Slinger and all other individuals that are at anytime within the boundaries of the Village. Department personnel will enforce Federal, State and Village laws and will perform functions designated by the Constitution of the United States, Wisconsin State Statutes and Village Ordinances.
The Slinger Police Department is located at 300 Slinger Road and serves the Village of Slinger 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Department consists of a Chief of Police, two Lieutenants, a Detective/Investigator and nine sworn officers. We also have an administrative staff of two and six crossing guards.
Slinger has a population of 6106 (2020 census).

The Slinger Police Department offers a variety of services to the Village.
Patrol
The Patrol Division monitors traffic for violations, handles accident reports, citizen complaints and a wide variety of services as necessary for the safety and welfare of those in our community.
Investigation
The officers of the Slinger Police Dept. handle the investigation of all crimes reported to our agency and in our jurisdiction. The department is proud of the solvency rate for clearing crimes.
Crime Prevention/Safety Programs
The department is involved in several community events including but not limited to, speeches within our school system, bicycle safety, and interaction with students through our school resource officer.
