Dog and cat licenses expire at the end of each calendar year. If you have not licensed your pet for this year, please do so before Village staff mails out the reminders. If you get the remider and still do not license your pet, the Slinger Police Department will follow up and inform you that you will get a fine for an unlicensed pet. **A reminder and form is not sent with property tax bills. You can either print one from the link below or stop in at Village Hall to pick up a form for each pet you need to license.
Every dog and cat five (5) months of age or older must be licensed. If your pet is spayed/neutered, the pet license cost is $10.00 per pet. If your pet is not spayed/neutered, the pet license cost is $15.00 per pet. Proof of current rabies vaccination is required at the time of licensing for all pets.
If you register your pet after March 31st, there is a $10.00 late fee per animal added to the charges.
