New Lawn Establishment Permits are available to the residents of newly built homes who are establishing their lawn for the first time. This permit is designed to give new homeowners a break on the sewer costs related to watering a newly established lawn. This permit is in place for 3 consecutive months, where the homeowner will pay sewer charges for the average monthly water usage, instead of actual usage while watering their lawn. If the homeowner has not established their own average water usage, the Village average of 3,000 gallons per month will be used.
