Welcome to the Village of Slinger! Nestled in the rolling hills of the Kettle Moraine, Slinger is a charming and dynamic village with 6,106 residents. Slinger was founded as Schleisingerville in 1854 and quickly became a busy center for trade and commerce. It was incorporated as a village in 1869 and has experienced steady growth ever since. The Village enjoys a tremendous location at the convergence of I-41, STH 60, STH 164 and STH 144 providing easy access to the Milwaukee, Waukesha and Fox Valley areas. The Village itself has plenty to offer and is the proud home of the Slinger School District, Little Switzerland Ski Hill, Slinger Speedway, the Kettle Moraine Playhouse and the Schleisingerville to Slinger Historical Museum.
