Commercial building projects include commercial, industrial/manufacturing and multifamily development.

Effective August 2025 - The Village of Slinger has contracted with SAFEbuilt for all of our building inspection services.

NEW INSPECTION REQUEST LINE: 262-420-4732 or WIinspections@safebuilt.com. All inspections must be scheduled by 4pm for next business day inspections.

In addition to standard building inspections, Safebuilt conducts all fire alarm and fire sprinkler inspections.

New construction commercial development projects are subject to Impact Fees. Information on Impact Fees can be found here .

Commercial Plan Review Submittal:

Please submit plans and SBD forms either by applying online or by emailing it to Lisa Held at Lheld@safebuilt.com.

Building Review Plans and SBD118 Form
HVAC plans – These should be separate from the building plans. Plans and SBD118, heat calcs and any other documentation. Application for Review - Buildings, HVAC, Fire and Components - SBD-118
Plumbing Review – Plans and SBD6154 form and applicable documents
Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Plans – Safebuilt is a delegated authority to review for alarm and sprinkler plans. Submittals require plans and SBD118 Form Fees for these reviews can be paid through Safebuilt's online permitting system or to the Village of Slinger directly. Submittals for review can be made to the State of Wisconsin instead of using Safebuilt.
