Do you have large items you’re not using any more and you haven’t figured out how to get rid of them? We may have just the answer for you!
The Village of Slinger will hold a special bulk item collection during the week after the village-wide rummage sale (May 9 th). The hours will be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm May 11 to May 15 - except for Wednesday May 13th , which will be from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. There will be special dumpsters located at our Public Works building, 218 Slinger Road (next to the Library), for the disposal of large items such as mattresses, box springs, furniture, etc. This will be a great opportunity to get rid of items that have been taking up too much space.
Please note this is available to SLINGER RESIDENTS ONLY.
NOTE: Items that can’t be disposed of in a landfill won’t be accepted!
This includes:
- Washers/Dryers
- Freezers/Refrigerators
- Microwaves
- Water Heater
- Stoves
- Hazardous Materials
- Air conditioners
- Dehumidifiers
- Tires
- Liquid
- Construction Materials
- Anything with an engine
- Electronics
